If I hit just the right note, then all the flies... poof!

As I was drinking my first cup of Saturday morning coffee, I turned on TCM and just starting was The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939). The first scene was of Basil Rathbone plucking away at a violin, staring at a brandy snifter of flies (an interesting way to spend one’s spare time). I bet that it wasn’t only tobacco in that calabash pipe! I decided to recreate the scene. My husband posed with a violin and goblet, I exchanged his head with Basil’s, and voila!
