I'm the Hootchie-Kootchie Man

Muddy Waters (McKinley Morganfield, 1915–1983) got his nickname because he played with mud as a poor boy growing up in Mississippi. Waters is probably the blues artist who had the most influence over rock and roll of the 1960s as band after band sought his input and collaboration.
